Marina is a boat-finding tool built by DISRUPTIVE INC. for Tri-State Marine. This page explains what information Marina uses, how it uses AI, copyright, and cookies. Last updated June 2026.
Privacy
Marina asks a few questions about how you plan to use a boat — activities, group size, budget, and whether you want new or pre-owned — to recommend in-stock boats. You do not need to give your name, email, or phone number to use the finder.
If you use the chat, the messages you send are processed to answer your questions. When you select a recommended boat, you are taken to tristatemarine.com, which is operated separately and has its own privacy policy. We also collect anonymous usage analytics, as described under Cookies & Tracking below.
Use of AI
Marina uses third-party artificial-intelligence models (OpenAI) to write the explanations for why boats were matched and to answer your follow-up questions. The preferences you enter and the chat messages you send are transmitted to that provider to generate a response. Please do not enter sensitive personal information.
AI-generated text can be incomplete or inaccurate. Treat it as a helpful starting point, not a guarantee, and confirm pricing, availability, and specifications with Tri-State Marine before making any decision.
Cookies & Tracking
Marina uses first-party browser storage and Google Analytics 4 to understand how the tool is used so we can improve it. These store a random identifier (not your name) and basic usage events, such as which steps you complete and which boats you view. You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings; the finder will still work.
We also keep an anonymous log of chat conversations with Marina — the questions asked and answers given, tied only to that random identifier — so we can improve the tool and our recommendations. These logs are automatically scrubbed of information that looks like a phone number or email address, are not linked to your identity, and are deleted after 90 days. Please still avoid entering personal information in the chat.
